The Festival of Light is scheduled for December 5, 2008 from 5:00 to 10:00 pm in the Oil Center of Lafayette.
Santa will be on hand to take pictures and listen to children’s wishes! Fun-filled events for children are planned along with rides and games to keep them entertained.
Local groups will provide traditional holiday music for your enjoyment, as you stroll through the Oil Center perusing our wonderful shops, amid all of our new lighted pieces that add to the magical atmosphere in the Oil Center. A taste of the Oil Center Food Court will provide delicious delicacies for all!
Festival of Light has become a tradition in Acadiana. It is a safe and festive way to start your holidays. Admission is Free.
The Oil Center Renaissance Association is a non-profit, professional, membership organization dedicated to enhance and expand the economic development of the Oil Center. Festival of Light is an annual event organized and operated by OCRA.
